Celestial Trophy was launched in the year 1995 during a period when there was dearth of cricket tournaments in the capital city.During those days cricketers in the district were deprived of opportunities to display their talents and clubs were cramped with out any competitive atmosphere .

Celestial Trophy has over these years grown to become an inevitable part of the state cricket calendar and is looked upon by the fraternity with high expectations.Our aim is to provide best possible opportunities to young talents to display their calibre. State level players representing many clubs from all over Kerala participate in this tournament as a platform to perform and to enhance chances for their selection aspirations.

We are dedicated to improve the quality of the tournament year after year..

The 26th edition is all set to commence by the second week of April 2022.

The tournament is expected to be a big draw in terms of spectator interest and team participation, as in the previous years.
